In front of another record-breaking crowd at the EcoSystem Stage during Meet Taipei, the five finalists of Dragons’ Chamber 2025 pitched their startups. This was the culmination of a process that started half a year earlier when they applied for Dragons’ Chamber and then did their first auditions in the beginning of September. The organizers MUSA Trademark, Enspyre and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce are proud to having concluded the 10th event!

The judges, the experienced investors and entrepreneurs we call Dragons, this year included five great individuals:

  • Torbjörn Nordling, an International angel investor from Sweden with a passion for disruptive innovation and research.
  • Yann Boquillod, a serial entrepreneur in the big data and AI industry. He’s also a passionate startup business mentor and angel investor.
  • Igor Žilák, an Investment professional representing Smart Capital, the largest angel club in Taiwan with nearly 500 members across 40 industries.
  • Revital Shpangental, Partner at iunctio, Revital has over two decades of experience driving innovation, cross-border growth, and sustainable transformation across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and North America.
  • And, finally, Elias Ek, Co-organizer of Dragons’ Chamber, Co-founder and CEO of Enspyre, and an active investor in many startups.

Together they listened diligently, asked tough questions and later on stage shared their thoughts and concerns about each of the finalists.

::: Second Prize Winners: Prompt Master Pro

Prompt Master Pro is a dedicated IDE for professional prompt engineering, built to bring clarity, discipline, and scalability to AI development. Today, most prompts—the essential assets powering AI systems—are scattered across chats, Slack threads, and documents. This disorganization leads to inefficiency, inconsistent results, and higher costs.

Our platform replaces the chaos with structure. Teams can design prompts using proven frameworks, run side-by-side testing, and collaborate with the same rigor as software engineering. With built-in version control, role-based collaboration, and analytics, Prompt Master Pro transforms prompting into a predictable and repeatable process.

One of our core advantages is automatic prompt formatting, which improves consistency and can increase output accuracy by up to 40 percent. Combined with our proprietary compressor, which reduces token usage by up to 25 percent, companies achieve higher quality results while lowering costs.

In the middle of the AI gold rush, Prompt Master Pro provides the tool every prompt engineer needs, enabling enterprises and innovators to scale AI solutions with speed, precision, and efficiency.

Big Thanks to The Sponsors

First we want to say a BIG thank you to Meet Taipei for inviting us to join their exciting event. Without Taiwan’s best and biggest startup event happening all around us, Dragons’ Chamber would not be same. And the fact that each finalist wins a free both for the three day startup festival where they can meet potential investors, partners and customers is of immense value to the program.

True Development provided a two day Pitch Camp for all the finalists valued at NTD90,000 per team. With True’s help, the finalists were able to put the final touches on their pitches. The winner Nicolas from IIST wrote: “Guessed it paid off 🙂 I have never felt so comfortable on stage. Thank you sincerely”.

Sophistec Global helps us very much by taking professional pictures and videos of our events. They are here today documenting everything so people who can’t be here today can still experience the event.

Our media sponsors Taiwan Impact Entrepreneurs and ICRT helps us spread the word to ensure that everyone in the community knows about what is going on.

How I Got My First Customer

The event started out with MC Adam McMillan welcoming everyone to the event and thanking all the organizers and sponsors. The organizers of Meet Taipei yielded their introduction to Jenny Hsueh from Startup Island’s Silicon Valley Hub who gave an introduction to their goals and services. They act as the two-way bridge between the startup communities in Taiwan and California and the US. She encouraged all the entrepreneurs in the audience to seek our the Silicon Valley Hub to learn more about how to enter the American market.

Then Dragons’ Chamber co-organizer Elias Ek took to the stage with a new program item called “How I Got My First Customer”. Joining him on stage was long-time Dragons’ Chamber sponsor Geber Branding’s Richard DeVries, 2022 Finalist Couchspace’s Frank Chang and 2024 Finalist APro’s Alex Frankish. Elias started out saying that via Dragons’ Chamber, other pitch competitions and his activities as an angel investor, he had watched hundreds of pitches and one of the things that struck him was that many founders had not given enough though to how they would do their sales and marketing. During the session, each of the four founder-experts shared how they had gotten started closing customers.

Elias spoke about how Enspyre had started out in 2003 offering Phone Answering but quickly pivoted to B2B Lead Generation (陌生開發) when it was clear that the Phone Answering didn’t attract enough customers and it was hard to define the Ideal Customer Profile. That pivot turned out to be fortuitous since Enspyre has since become the lead B2B Lead Generation company in Taiwan servicing Fortune 500 giants and local startups alike.

All the speakers in this session spoke about the important to get started, to not be shy to pick up the phone and start calling potential customers. All of them admitted to having stumbled in the beginning but every call and every meeting led to them better understanding their customer profile and selling points.

Organizers

Founded in 2016, Dragons’ Chamber is Taiwan’s only pitch event for foreign entrepreneurs. Starting a business is always a very hard task but doing it in a foreign country is many times harder.

Comparing Taiwan to countries like the US, Canada and the UK we can learn that the rate of entrepreneurship among immigrants living in Taiwan is relatively low. Considering that over half of US unicorns are co-founded by an immigrant, Taiwan has a lot to win by engaging with the talent already living in Taiwan or about to relocate. Dragons’ Chamber works to give mentorship and exposure to the best of the immigrant entrepreneurs.

MUSA Trademark

MUSA Trademark, derive their name from the Muses, the nine Greek inspirational goddesses of literature, science, and the arts. Their goal is to help protect intellectual property and expand its value.

Trademarks represent your corporate image and the key to sustainable growth, losing a trademark is irreversible and will cost mightily. They provide professional full-range trademark services to optimize your intellectual property strategies in Taiwan and around the world. They take great pride in our profession and understand the importance of helping our clients protect their intellectual property.

Enspyre

Co-founded by Swedish national Elias Ek in 2002, Enspyre provides B2B Lead Generation services to thousands of the world’s top companies like Oracle, Rakuten and eBay. In later years more and more startups like Kdan Mobile, DottedSign, SunnyFounder, Snacklips, beBitTech, ChiChat, havppen, and Owlsome Tech also use Enspyre to Identify and Connect with new business customers.

Enspyre also provides phone answering services to startups and SMEs.

In 2013 Enspyre published the book How to Start a Business in Taiwan to help mainly immigrant entrepreneurs get their companies started in Taiwan.

Canadian Chamber of Commerce Taiwan

The Canadian Chamber has grown from an organization providing basic support to Canadians on the island, to a Chamber serving the needs of all Canadians and friends of Canada in Taiwan. In 1984, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan was officially registered with the Ministry of the Interior as a foreign association – the first of its kind in Taiwan.

The CCCT’s Small Business Network’s goal is to connect small business owners in Taiwan. Through the Dragons’ Chamber, which is the first event of its kind in Taiwan, we aim to connect small business owners and entrepreneurs with industry leaders in Taiwan that are looking for good business ideas.
