By applying for and participating in the event, you agree to the following:
I understand that I will be participating in a live event entitled “DRAGONS’ CHAMBER” (the ‘EVENT’) to be hosted by the Small Business Committee of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with its partners, and sponsors, in Taiwan (collectively, the “Host”), which is intended to provide a platform for entrepreneurs in the English-speaking community in Taiwan to present, discuss, and receive feedback on their current and future business ideas and plans from experienced investors and business people (hereafter, the “Dragons”), and from the audience, in general. This event is intended for entertainment purposes only and all information, ideas, and opinions expressed are those of the individuals and not the host, and the host bears no responsibility for the accuracy of any of the information presented or discussed, and does not specifically endorse any of the business ideas or business plans presented during the event.
You acknowledge that the Host, the Dragons, and the other participants are not providing legal, business, product design, accounting, marketing or other professional advice, and that you are solely responsible for conducting your own legal, financial, and business due diligence before entering into any business agreement or cooperation. The Host will not be involved in any subsequent monetary transactions between any of the parties that attended the event, and will not receive any compensation as a result of any business agreement or other cooperation that is consummated between any of the parties that attended the event.
The event may be recorded and, by choosing to attend this event, you irrevocably consent to the Host’s recording of you, with or without your knowledge, during the event, and you agree to grant to Host, its assignees, licensees, agents and affiliates, the right to use and reuse your appearance at the event in any and all media now known or hereafter devised.
